Born Free Heritage — 3 Days

A journey into the heart of Born Free country. Visit Elsa's grave, explore the rhino sanctuary, and game drive through Meru's lush riverine landscapes where Joy and George Adamson once lived.

Day-by-day itinerary

1. Day 1

   Nairobi to Meru National Park

   Depart Nairobi and drive north through farmland and sisal estates. Arrive at the lodge for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive along the Rojewero River.

2. Day 2

   Rhino sanctuary & Born Free heritage

   Morning visit to the rhino sanctuary to track both black and white rhinos. Afternoon drive to Elsa's Kopje and the grave of Elsa the lioness, with views over the park.

3. Day 3

   Adamson's Falls & return to Nairobi

   Morning game drive and visit to Adamson's Falls on the Tana River. Breakfast at the lodge, then the scenic return drive to Nairobi.
